ROLE OF NISA FOUNDATION IN rejuvenating EDUCATION IN PAKISTAN

Over the past decades, Pakistan is making slow progress in education sector. There are so many obstacles in the way that achieving 100% literacy sounds like a faraway dream. One of the many reasons for this failure is that Pakistan spends a pitiful amount to fund education. In the year 2021-2022  Pakistan spent 1.77% of its GDP on education while the policy of education mark is 6% of expenditure of total GDP on education. This gap is dangerously huge.

Pakistan is in dire need to mobilize its education sector for good. The private sector has set the price bar too high to be accessible to the poor ones.If the country wants to make significant progress, the government and private sector has to effectively collaborate for the cause and make quality education accessible to every single child.

NGOs have played a crucial role in the education sector by lending a helping hand to the government. While the government is responsible for providing quality education to its citizens, NGO like Nisa Foundation could be of great help to the government in working for a particular cause.

To elaborate further every area has a different kind of problem. Some areas are poor where people can’t afford a good education, some places need preaching and advocacy to the cause of education while some places don’t have any place or facility for education at all. Governments work on high and equal level. They don’t have schemes and policies to serve these particularly different causes; NGO’s are the savior in this case. They attend to these special causes and work to eliminate them completely. For example Nisa Foundation in Pakistan work to save child labourers and send those children to schools. Also they advocate for female education which is a major problem in Pakistan.

Nisa Foundation relies on donations and funding. Our activities are monitored well due to which we make sure to work well. There are many ways Nisa Foundation works, for example one of them is sponsoring the education of a child. This way a donor can keep a track of how their money is transforming someone’s life for good.

NGOs are less complicated than most government programs. They could be on a large scale and smaller scale. Unlike government programs they have more control and privacy about the work criteria and target place. They choose their own cause to serve which benefits them on focusing more. NGOs are a great help in transformation of infrastructure of institutes, providing quality staff, increasing enrollment of students and much more.

Nisa Foundation could be really very helpful to Pakistan in every sector, especially the suffering education sector. Nisa Foundation needs your help so that we could operate with ease.
